I have had it. It is okay. Not as good as other sours. It was actually kinda weak in the "sour" department. Most of those beers, which I have had all of the Elysian 12 Beers, are kind of underwhelming in my opinion. Have you had any? What do you think?
Tyler: I haven't tried it. Theoretically, January is the month of no beer. This year -- more theory so far than reality -- but really, at $8/bottle, I'm not too keen on taking a gamble. So your take is helpful.
The "persimmon" part kind of scares me off -- i don't prefer the sour flavor to be dominated by a fruity/sweet thing. But they list the right sour bacteria agent on the label, so it seems promising.
Holier than thou fenders.

ReplyDeleteStay focused Hank, the fenders are just a red herring. It's a beer post!
ReplyDeleteHank: good one.
