Parking lot test ride

She loves it. She's on and on about how much we're going to ride this year. Sweet. She rode in the parking lot for about an hour. Until we both froze.

I'm trying to convince her to pop the seat up a hair, but she like the comfort of being able to put more than a toe on the ground as she sits on the saddle. I suppose as she gets more experience, she'll  be more comfortable with a proper seat height.

But she's like her old man: she prefers to stand and grind in a high gear. She's not a spinner.

Nice - very cool.

A few years ago, got my son a new Specialized mountain bike for Christmas. That was a fun morning.

He's now 11 years old and out grown it - it hangs in the garage waiting for my daughter to grow into it.

Riding with your kids is the coolest thing ever.

Hey I recognize that parking lot! Makes me think of breakfast and pancakes, but I digress... Best Christmas bike ever! I'm excited for Maddie and all the cycling adventures that await her and her trusty Elephant beyond the South Hill. That looks like a bike that will expand her range a bit.

Spinning is overrated. Great gift guys - the smile and face says it all. Bike look clean and fast, but I know it is just a matter of time until you decide it needs custom racks and fenders....
