Contraption

I meant to post this on Friday. There's a story here. Too long for mobile post treatment.

Bike cart? The center of gravity is lower than the wheel axle, which is a nice but too rare feature. Looks cool, whatever it is.

That looks heavy as hell.

Christopher: no. it's a water hauler for a woman that is doing some crazy self-supported trek in Death Valley.

Jeff: actually, it's pretty light. All that metal siding stuff is actually styrofoam covered by reflective tinfoil stuff. And the tubing is aluminum square stock stuff.

Is the hat tinfoil also?

It doesn't really matter how heavy or light the trailer is if she's filling that whole thing with water!

Though, if you made a giant neoprene bladder with a super long hose, you could have the first CamelTrailer©.

Will certainly use the extra foil for a hat. :)

The cart is very light and perfectly constructed. The supplies, however, are indeed heavy as hell. Water alone weighs 180 pounds. Hope that's enough.

Here's the story if you're interested:
